I'm not into track cycling (yet), mostly because the different disciplines and point systems confuse the hell out of me. Yet the energy and atmosphere at this iconic event in the Berlin velodrome was contagious. Take a peek.
Camera on, brain off. 45 minutes of respite from conscious thinking. Escape to the immediate, purely physical world.

Team 8bar invited me along to Red Hook Crit Milano. This was my first time attending a bike race of this magnitude, it was awesome to see so many different actors coming together to make it happen. Organizers, racers, support staff, spectators, course marshalls, all doing their part towards the common goal of hosting the largest fixed gear bike race series. This is my tiny contribution, I hope you enjoy my photo series.
The trackday of Red Hook Crit Milano is the opportunity to stretch the legs and hang out with fellow racers and spectators on the day before the race. And what better location to do so than the historic Vigorelli velodrome in the heart of Milan!
